Alisa Zhao is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P.) who brings a calm, thoughtful, and patient-centred approach to care. She takes the time to listen, understand each patient’s concerns, and create a treatment plan based on their individual needs and goals.
Alisa has a special interest in pain management, musculoskeletal conditions, injury recovery, and stress-related concerns. She has experience supporting patients with acute injuries, ongoing pain, tension, mobility concerns, and ICBC-related injuries.
She also enjoys supporting women through different stages of life, with a focus on women’s health, prenatal care, and postnatal support.
Alisa has additional training in Tung’s Acupuncture, a specialized style of Chinese acupuncture, and may also incorporate cupping, moxibustion, and gua sha when appropriate.
Alisa provides care in both English and Mandarin and strives to create a comfortable, supportive treatment experience where patients feel heard and well cared for.
